I created Goccia during a profoundly challenging time, when my daughter Maeve was in the hospital for an extended stay. Each moment I stepped away—whether to grab a bite, take a shower, or spend time with my other child—I felt a piece of me was left behind. Drawing on my 10 years in the jewelry industry, I crafted a small reminder: a necklace with one large drop for me and one small drop for Maeve. It was a subtle, meaningful way to keep us connected in spirit, even when we couldn’t be together.
The Italian word ‘Goccia,’ meaning ‘drop,’ captures this essence—the powerful bonds we carry with us, even from afar. When Maeve was released, I created a new piece with drops for my husband, myself, and both of our children, symbolizing our family’s journey and resilience. Wearing it daily, I realized that many people have relationships they wish to honor close to their heart. Goccia was born from that experience, for anyone who wants to carry the beauty of their closest connections wherever they go.
